SAFE

Students Achieving First-Year Excellence (SAFE) SAFE is a peer mentoring program, created to support the transition of first-year students to Charlotte. First-year students are paired with upper-class student mentors who provide ongoing academic, personal, and social support for the duration of their first academic year. Our program seeks to minimize academic, social, & economic challenges by encouraging students to actively utilize and participate in support services, providing peer-to-peer support, access to academic services, & raising awareness of various campus resources.
